Here is your chance to own a custom built Sage X 9 foot , 7 weight Fly Rod. This rod is NOT built yet, but we will begin the rod build as soon as we receive payment from you.
Since this is a custom rod, you get the following options:
- American Tackle AL8L2 reel seat in black or silver.
- American Tackle stainless tip top, hook keeper, & double foot guides in your choice of black or silver.
- Your choice of thread wrap color and stripe color.
Also, your rod will be built with a full wells cork grip and fighting butt.
This rod comes with a rod sock and aluminum tube.
Please take a look at all the pics and you can see some of the beautiful color combinations we can do for you. If you would rather your rod be "stealthy", we can make your rod with black thread wrap and black guides. If you like a colorful rod, then we can do that for you.
Keep in mind that the Sage X blank is a very, very dark green. Some of the pics you see are NOT of a Sage X, but are of other rods I have built.
This rod will be built just for you. If you would like a different reel seat, grip, or guides, just let us know. We will make the process of you ordering a custom rod as simple as we can. From the time we receive your payment it will take from 7 to 30 days until we ship you your custom rod. Your rod will be built in our shop by a member of the Custom Rod Builders guild and it will be shipped via USPS 2nd day Priority. Your rod will be covered by the Sage Lifetime warranty.
