Here are some of the features of this fantastic rod: downlocking reel seat to shift the balance point deeper into the cork reduced swing weight and better balance in the hand to reduce fatigue lighter and more durable military grade carbon fiber faster recovery speed and a better dampening blank to improve casting accuracy improved guides and a stripping guide on the lowest piece to reduce sag of the line between the hand on the first guide.
Available in 10' 2 weight, 10' 6" 3 weight, 11' 2 weight, and 11' 3 weight.
Built using carbon fiber of military grade modulus and resins, these rods have been designed and built utilizing over 30 years of top level competition experience from the Cortland Prostaff. The balance of the weight and the main power in the butt section paired with a downward locking reel seat for this technique is paramount. An ergonomic fighting butt provides correct weight distribution and necessary control to land the larger fish.
Rods include a specific-size, cloth rod sock and an optic orange rod case for easy location on the river bank.
This rod is covered by the Cortland Lifetime Limited Warranty and I will include paperwork and rod registration instructions.
